Grace

A few months ago I wrote a poem about the sovereignty of God in salvation. Tonight as I was pondering what to write about on my blog I remembered this poem and I thought it would be very encouraging to look at more of the attributes of God and write poems about them. Now, I can assure the reader that there will be no poem that is limited to one attribute for God’s attributes are completely interwoven. I think in each poem I’m going to talk about God in general and then pull an attribute out of the pool and talk about it specifically. I’m Engaged

Several days ago, I had the privilege to attend the wedding of Travis and Yonah Carden. As Yonah walked down the isle towards Travis, I began to reflect on where it all pointed. I remembered the most important part of a wedding. I know both of them would agree that, ultimately, their union is a symbol of one of God’s great purposes of Creation. New Blog

Today I was convicted that I needed to continue this blog. I think it is a good opportunity for me to minister to others, and it’s disappointing that I have not kept it up. So I decided to start blogging again. I also am planning on creating my own layout and artwork for the site to greater symbolized the new name: covered. I pray that the posts on this blog will both be honoring to God, encouraging to believers, and convicting to sinners.

James 5:7-8

7Therefore be patient, brethren, until the coming of the Lord The farmer waits for the precious produce of the soil, being patient about it, until it gets the early and late rains.
